Best banana pancakes and Spanish omlett here. Our waitress, Diana was the best! Very friendly and quick service. Next time we will try lunch!

The Bright Star diner serves delicious food. We stop there every week after we do our shopping. The food and the service is always top shelf. They have a great salad bar which as stand alone dinner with a bowel of their soup is a real treat. The waiters and waitress are top shelf, polite and efficient. When they are really busy it sometimes takes awhile to get your food. Its not gourmet food, its a diner, with just plain ole good food. So if your spending a day shopping at Woodbury Common and you want breakfast, lunch or dinner stop by they are only a 1/2 mile away.

Think stereotype diner and there you have it...a diner!

Leaving Woodbury Commons take a right and it's down the road a few miles...past Cosimo's(Italian); The Hut (great ice cream); past another diner/restaurant on the right we never tried and then you get to Bright Star on your right.

Breakfast/Lunch/Diner choices galore! Check the other reviews which are accurate! The lunch fried fish portion was very large; tuna sandwich packed with tuna; and the Monte Cristo full of ham/cheese/chicken but the challa bread was too sweet for me. I should have had the liver which isn't usually available on menus.

If you are looking for a casual (all the eateries in the area are) informal, reasonably priced place with all sorts of choices on the menu then Bright Star is worth a try.

Stopped here with a friend for breakfast at lunchtime. We each ordered the spinach omelet with added cheese, served with toast and home fries. The omelets were tasty, served quickly and still hot. We asked for well-done home fries and they came nicely browned and crispy, though more than a little greasy. We stayed for quite a while talking and they kept our coffee cups filled. Overall, a good place for a quiet, relaxing, stressfree meal.
