My husband and I stayed at this hotel while on a shopping trip in Buffalo. The room and bed were very clean. I lifted up the sheets and checked behind the headboard for bed bugs and, thankfully, there were none. To my pleasant surprise, the mattress and box spring were also clean. We just found the price per night, however, to be a bit high.

The hotel did a fantastic job on the room renovations. It feels like a brand new hotel. I stayed two nights in a large 2 bedroom suite. The room was spotless and newly renovated, which was a plus! my last visit to this hotel the rooms were showing their age, i found all the staff i encountered friendly and helpful. The hotel is close to the airport so like every other airport hotel you will hear planes taking off. the noise didn't really bother me that much. The breakfast was pretty standard hotel food, but hey its free! Starbucks is on the other side of the parking lot, if the hotel's free coffee and tea doesn't suit you're needs.

We arrived in middle of night, with four cranky kids. There was no parking anywhere near our entrance. The parking lot was full of utility trucks. We were promised a rollaway bed at the time of reservation, but upon arrival we were told that due to fire regulations, they can't give us the bed. Needless to say, the children did not have a normal night sleep, needing to double and tripple up in bed. The staff were really not out to please. The manager was downright rude, and refused any monetary compensation. We had room service invade our privacy even though we had the "Do not disturb" on the door. The place was terribly NOISY. The air condition sounded like a truck was by the window. There is a busy rail line about a quarter mile away. The hotel is directly in line with the runway at Buffalo International Airport (check it out on google maps), making for the noisiest vacation we ever had

We booked a two bedroom suite at this hotel for 2 nights so we could take our kids to Darien Lake, and to do some shopping. Supposedly it has been recently renovated, but the rooms in our suite all had old style Zenith TV's?? Be prepared to hear nothing but traffic and airplanes flying overhead.
When we were putting our boys to bed, we noticed the carpet in the kids room was damp, but we assumed it must be from the air conditioning or recent carpet cleaning. I woke through the night feeling nauseated and had to send my husband out at 5 a.m. to find ginger ale. When we woke up in the morning we opened the door to the kids room to check on them, and were hit with the most putrid stench that smelled like vomit, sour milk and [--] combined. The carpet felt even more damp, and I got down and sniffed it, and that is where the smell was coming from.
I immediately woke the kids and got them out of there and called the front desk. They sent up a maintenance man who told us the bathroom adjoining that bedroom had the toilet overflow recently. "Supposedly there was nothing in the toilet, so they never had the carpets shampooed" he told us.
I am completely disgusted that Residence Inn even rented this room, without first ensuring that the carpets were CLEANED and DRIED, and ensuring that it was not a health hazzard.
We immediately checked out and moved to a much nicer hotel. Never in a million years would I set foot in this Residence Inn again.

My husband and I stayed one night with friends and were very impressed with the cleanliness of the hotel/suite and the spaciousness of our rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast included hot items such as eggs, sausage, and waffles. Wished we could have stayed longer! Splitting the cost with our friends made this a very affordable option.

Booked this hotel at the last minute due to problems with getting 2 double beds instead of a king at our original hotel. We were travelling with 3 adults and 2 kids and a king would not work. Big basketball tournament going on and i guess all hotels were very busy. The receptionist couldnt have been nicer, extremely helpful both over the phone when booking and the next day when we arrived. Hotel was great, we had a 2 bed suite with fireplace. It was quiet, comfortable and everything we wanted. Pool and spa were very clean, all staff very friendly, good choice at breakfast, close to the Galleria for shopping and opposite a Target. Glad we had to switch and would definitely stay here again.
