We stayed here for a couple of nights for our annual :back to school shopping trip". Having stayed at this property last year, we felt is was a good choice again, expecially considering its central loctaion to many of Buffalo's malls.

This is still a very nice property, and everything you would expect from a newer HIX. One plus is the pool, as it really is very large for this class of hotel and a bonus for the kids. The breakfast is also very good, and the room decent in size and nicely appointed.

We did find the bathroom slipping a bit; some mold in the grount and in the corners of the floor tile. Also, the AC unit was extreamly load in our room.

All in all, still a good choice, but is has slipped a little in the pasrt 12 months.

My wife and I stayed at this Holiday Inn Express on September 2, 2011. We were flying out of Buffalo airport the next morning. This hotel is located very close to the airport. Our room was decent size and reasonably clean. The bathroom was small and sink drain was clogged and filled up with water very quickly... I wouldn't stay at this hotel for longer than 1-2 days but it's perfectly fine as a transit hotel.

The 5 of us stayed here for the night. The service at the front desk was very helpful with any of our questions including one of them to heat up 5 microwaveable dinners. Unfortunately it was too bad that our standard room did not have a microwave.
If I have one complaint it would be the roll-a-way bed. It was very uncomfortable with very notable springs. My 16 year old daughter did not sleep well even after we put a bunch of regular pillows and an extra blanket on it in the hopes of reducing all the pokes of the springs. My suggestion would be that the hotel should get rid of them and replace it with foam mattresses.
On the positive side, the room was very clean, good breakfast, great shuttle service and the kids loved the pool.

I know we've stayed here before and had a positive experience. We've just returned from another stay and we won't be going back!!! Aside from the double beds (when we are sure we requested King- not a huge deal) it was being greeted by two dead rather large insects in the washroom that caused me angst. Understanding the hotel was sold out and we were faced with extremely soft double beds a stone's throw from the noisy pool, I decided I was going to be optimistic and make the best of it.

I woke it the morning to be greeted to three live black insects (roach- like) and an earwig on the washroom floor. Not being into entomology, I immediately woke my husband to take care of the situation :) The idea of insects turned me off the included breakfast and we decided to check out straight away (partially due to my urgency to get shopping!).

The alarming part came when we let the front desk know about the insects when we checked out. We weren't looking for a discount, just doing the right thing by letting them know there might be a problem in Rm 129. The gentleman at the front desk seemed unfazed and told us it was simply a few bugs sneaking in! Okay then...as I mentioned, we won't be returning!!!!!

We stayed here during our recent visit to Niagara Falls. The hotel is very conveniently located off the highway. The rooms are a little small. We had asked for a rollaway bed but the bed is huge and we had to use just the mattress and it barely fit. Couple of annoyances because the phone in the room was not working and the bathtub did not drain properly - both easily fixable problems. The hot free breakfast was very good with enough choices for adults and kids. The hotel is very clean and for the $180 we Paid it was well worth it.

Excellent stay at the Holiday Inn Express Buffalo Airport.

Hotel is very clean and located right across the street from the Buffalo airport. We had an early flight out (before the breakfast area opened) and were provided with a grab bag to go.

Hotel shuttle runs 24 hours and was quick to take us to the airport and to pick us up from the airport upon return.

Great placde to stay. Would definately recommend it.
