We had breakfast at Jake Moon on the Sunday of a holiday weekend, arriving late morning when the small, diner-like restaurant was busy and full. The menu was imaginative, the food was pretty good, and the servings were huge, but it was a very long wait for our meal. Both of us had 3-egg scrambles, and they were really too much of a good thing. Unfortunately, the toast was not quite toasted and not quite warm, and there was no jam or spread to put on it. The home fries were delicious, the best part of the meal. This is probably a much better dining experience when the restaurant is not so crowded and the kitchen can keep up. We'll go back soon to see how it works on a non-holiday.
