Our family had a spur-of-the moment trip and ended up in Subic. We we're looking for accommodations when we passed by this restaurant way past lunch time.

I'm not really into seafood but we decided to try this restaurant since we are far from home and wouldn't want the usual food chains nearby that are also found at home.

We tried their fresh market choices. (really pricey P600-700/ 5 pcs of buttered shrimps) But food was AMAZING! They really know how to cook seafood. This is a must try place. I've gone to Dampa and other restos where they cook seafood but this place tops all of them.

It has a wide variety of seafood but the price seems too pricey for a country surrounded by the ocean and has 7,100 islands.

Food is okay but not outstanding. It is better to get a table outside by the bay walk at night to have a better appreciation of the area.

Our group of 17 went there to sample the seafood by the sea. We were kinda hungry for something fresh, so we settled on sweet sour lapu-lapu, clear-broth soup, sauteed shrimps and lechon kawali.

I have no complaints about the seafood. The sweet and sour was just right and they avoided the common mistake of some restaurants in making the dish sweeter than it should be. The shrimp was cooked right as well.

However, the lechon kawali was overcooked. When it arrived, it wasn't golden brown but rather dark brown. It made the meat dry and a little tough. Service was okay.
