The Cooper Inn is an excellent place to stay. Ample parking, Inn decorated in great taste, clean and very welcoming. Check in smooth, room nice size and very well done. Guests who stay here are able to use Sister Hotel, The Otesaga and it never disappoints. All is walking distance and the view from the back porch is breathtaking. Continental breakfast next morning very good. Highly recommend this Inn.

We brought our grandson to visit Coopertown to visit the Baseball Hall of Fame. We found this a wonderful family environment from the museum to the downtown shopping.

The Cooper Inn was a great choice for us. It was lovely, homey and very welcoming. This former mansion has been beautifully transitioned to a lovely, spacious Inn. Our room was large and easily accommodated 2 adults and a child in the Deluxe Queen/Single room. My husband was so happy to have a glass of wine in the evening and the hearty, continental Breakfast was served in a beautiful dining area, complete with cloth tablecloths and napkins.

We plan to return in the Fall and spend a romantic weekend enjoying the sights and relaxing in the comfortable living areas. We also want to make time to spend time using the amenities at the sister hotel. Highly recommended!

Room Tip: Loved staying at this small resort and having the use of the larger facilities.

A great place to stay while visiting Glimmerglass and the Hall of Fame. You can walk anywhere in town. Take your car or the town bus to the Opera. Access to the Otesaga Hotel for swimming and great view of the lake. Lots of places to walk along the lake.

Room Tip: We have stayed in several different rooms. All are great

After a most enjoyable visit last year we were disapponted this year and felt a subtle change in attitude. The inn seems less like an inn and more like the subsidiary of the Otesaga Hotel, which it is. No one greets you, no one offers to help with your bags, no one really welcomes you. "Yes, we still offer wine late afternoon, but just a single glass now." "Unfortunately our supplier hasn't delivered any white wine" - this from two employees in successive days (not weekends). On day two, at least, a single bottle of red wine sat unopened through cocktail hour. Now why couldn't someone have gone out and bought a couple of bottles of white? Our room was small, and our bathroom "one person". Yes we could have a bigger room, we were told, but that would be more expensive. At $300 plus tax we felt entitled to expect something better.
One can't deny that this is a fine establishment, but something has changed and we won't be back next year.

We loved The Cooper Inn and its sister hotel Atesaga. Both absolutely beautiful. Our room was perfect. Breakfast at Atesaga was excellent. We only stayed in Cooperstown for one night but wish we had stayed longer to enjoy both hotels.

After spending 4 days in Boston for a baseball holiday at Fenway Park, we decided to make a stop in Cooperstown before heading back to Canada.... What a fanatastic time we had. Wish we could have stayed longer. After searching the website I found a very quaint place to stay... Lots of history here and The Cooper Inn met and exceeded all of our expectations. The rooms were perfect and the beds so comfortable... Right from the time we entered the parking lot. to the walk up the stairs to the reception area, we were so thrilled that we had picked the Cooper Inn for the last leg of our journey... A great ending to a wonderful holiday...We were within walking distance of all the attractions this quaint little town has to offer... Beautiful. The staff were very helpful as we only had 1 night so all of their advice was very helpful... Great continental breakfast... Thanks for the tip Lance.... Loved the suite. Would definitely stay here again, and again, and again....... Thanks for the memories.

Room Tip: My husband and I had our own beautiful room with a shared bathroom and our Son had his own private r...
