Hospitality premium. Beautiful location....stream runs through the backyard. Lush lawn and flowers. Get the room on the ends that face the creek. Private entrance and great views.

Other rooms are nice. Old but very well maintained Inn or B & B. Owners are tremendous. Our first stay but most people were come back every year.

good breakfast array. Waffles and eggs cooked to order.

Room Tip: See above.

We stayed at the Haydencreek Inn with two other couples for a brief kid-free week of biking and exploring the area. The place was perfect and Joe a wonderful host. Highly recommend it for a brief getaway.

This was the first time staying at a Bed and breakfast wasn't sure what to expect . We were only going to Cooperstown over night to go to the Baseball Hall of Fame. .I emailed Joe the owner and asked if we could book a room for one night , the website said you had to book a 2 night min .He emailed me back and said since it was during the week one night would be fine. The room was not the king I wanted but that is business, and it was available for the one night. We had 2 queens and a kitchen. It was big and clean. The bed was comfy one of the best night sleeps I had in a full week of travel. The breakfast was great and everyone was friendly. The backyard is huge and I enjoyed watching the woodchuck from the little porch we had.It is about 10 miles from the hall of fame but that was good it was away from the crowd and a peaceful setting .When we left on Friday morning we had both said we should have booked a longer stay.

Hayden Creek Inn was our (group of friends) home base for cycling around Lake Otsego and visiting the Baseball Hall of Fame and other Cooperstown attractions. The Inn was comfortable, with beautiful grounds (including an outdoor gazebo for our evening happy hour!). We spent time in the community area (a big sunroom in the back of the inn, where breakfast was served) playing board games and meeting other guests. The innkeeper Joe met us with a quiet greeting, made us feel welcome, and provided ample breakfasts (including eggs made to order). Our room (room 5) was colorfully decorated and well furnished. Cooperstown is a very easy 10 mile bicycle ride away. We would definitely stay there again and recommend it highly.

Room Tip: We had room 5 and it was great. A very comfortable king-size bed, nice decor, a refrigerator and microwave. There is a door to the country farmhouse front porch and a door in back opening onto the beautiful gardens/creek/gazebo. We didn't see any other rooms so no means of comparison.

The room was very roomy and very clean. If we had any requests or needed anything fixed the owner would get it taken care of right away. Breakfast was excellent! you are able to make waffles, the owner would ask us if we wanted eggs every mourning. Plus we met some nice people from Jersey.
