We recently stayed at the Tunnicliff Inn when visting for two days on our way to Boston and Maine. We wanted to stay someplace different than the run of the mill chain hotels and this definitely fit the bill. Our kids (ages 11 and 12) and my husband and I all stayed in the Executive king room. Our kids were provided with 2 rollaway beds and we were all very comfortable and cozy. The room had a lot of character including slanted floors and ceilings which made it seem like we were staying in a comfortable old house belonging to a long lost relative. The room was very clean and the staff very nice. The bathroom was very small and the shower even smaller but it was fine for our family. The breakfast was nice and there was a good selection. The location was PERFECT and close to everything so we were able to walk to everything in town. As a warning though this hotel would be very difficulty to navigate if you had any disability because of the stairs.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. A luxury hotel this is not but I found that I was somewhat sad to leave...
Thanks for a fun time!More
