Suzanne was MADE to be an innkeeper :) We arrived fairly early, just a few minutes after check i time, and she was ready with a smile on her face & cookies & lemonade. Gave us a great tour of the house & then let us have some time to unwind. When we came downstairs about thirty minutes later, she was more than happy to give us her opinion of which Wine Trail to do the next day (we had planned on Cayuga - did Keuka on her recommendation and glad we did) and chatted with us for a bit.

The inn is quite lovely. Most of the pieces have a story, so don't be afraid to ask. We stayed in a queen sized room on the 2nd floor, with the four poster bed & the Alice in Wonderland theme. The only issue we had was water temperature in the shower, but that's just a price you pay for staying in an old home, I've found. I'm pretty good at hearing water rustling elsewhere and know to jump out of the way. Also enjoyed the side porch...plenty of comfortable seats, copies of local menus, afternoon treats, and the perfect place to enjoy a bottle of wine at the end of the day.

Very convenient to downtown (just a few blocks from plenty of restaurants & shops) and probably a 15-20 minute walk from the museum.

Breakfast the next morning was as expected. Homemade muffins with delicious homemade marmalade...a hot breakfast dish (we had some sort of fresh toast)...fresh fruit & cereal. Plenty to fill my belly.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Rosewood the next time we are in the Finger Lakes.

We arrived and Suzanne said, "Welcome Home." She had lemonade and chocolate chip cookies on the porch for us. Our room was comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed reading in the "parlor." Also, the walk into Corning was delightful. We would not hesitate to recommend this inn to our friends. Very enjoyable and quiet!

Warmly greeted by Suzanne. Lemonade and cookies on the screened in porch awaited us. House was beautiful and clean. Room was comfortable. Canopy bed was very comfortable. Big claw foot tub was lovely to bathe in. Breakfast was excellent: omelets and home made muffins. Wireless was fast too! No complaints. Would enjoy coming back again.

This was our second stay at the Rosewood Inn. While our room was quite comfortable (which at their prices should be expected), I suppose our primary complaint was the breakfast. There were too many empty calories & too much sugar in the pasteries. Because we had to leave before breakfast the day we checked, we asked for a "take out" meal. The muffins provided were clearly store bought and although over-sized, very sweet and otherwise tasteless. There's apparently not a lot of choice as regards B & B in Corning, so we'll probably stay in a hotel the next. time.

The rooms are very clean, quiet, comfortable beds and lots of linen. Our room had a separate, small sitting room, a full bathroom with a sink area which was most convenient. The innkeeper was cheerful and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Free parking.Located within walking distance of a good selection of restaurants and a short drive or bus ride to Corning Glass Museum, this B&B is a positive, fun experience.

Recently we stayed at the Rosewood Inn in Corning. The location is excellent--close to the glass museum and not far from restaurants. The style is very Victorian---I love Victorian, but found this a bit much. Beds were excellent. Breakfast was French toast and it was very good---but only 1 slice per person and I think some people might have liked a bit more.
Bathrooms were very outdated and small, but clean. No shampoo provided. There is a hair dryer available, but not in the rooms.

We recently spent two nights in the Parlor Suite at the Rosewood Inn, and we enjoyed our stay very much. The suite has a private first floor entrance, so it is very quiet and private, with only a few steps up to the entrance (no winding staircase to navigate as in some old B&B's). It has a small front room with a TV and refrigerator; a nice sized bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed, and a small bathroom with a stall shower. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was tasty, and Suzanne was very friendly and helpful, giving us good suggestions for meals and sightseeing. We especially enjoyed our dinner at the Three Birds restaurant, and we loved the Corning glass musuem... awesome! You can allow one to two days for the museum, since the admission ticket is good for 2 days. The Rosewood Inn is well located in a nice area that is just a short walk from the main street of shops and restaurants. We would stay there again if we return to this area.
