This is a very nice hotel. I was there for a conference and it was an excellent setting. The food was much better than usual hotel or conference food. Above all the staff was about the best I've seen anywhere. Very impressive. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars wasn't really their fault. We had a leak of some sort in the ceiling of the first room bathroom. But they moved us quickly and the maintenance man even came and got our luggage. The second room had an extremely loud fan on the heat. It's showing its age I expect. But everything else made up for it. As we checked out the woman at the desk even apologized for not being able to get me a spa appointment. It was a casual conversation the day before but she remembered. Would definitely go back. Good location too.

Room Tip: The main building has all the amenities.

This is a very nice place. We stayed in the older, quieter section. There is a walk way between the front and back section, so if you like to sleep with windows open, it may not be quieter during the busy season. But we stayed at the end of September so it was fairly peaceful. The pool is in the front "remodeled" area of the hotel and it is a perfect size for a good workout. You must go outside to get to it from the back section. We stayed only one night here as the second night price went up considerably, so we stayed at a sister hotel the second night. Two nights is a must if you are going to the CMOG. We spent 8 hours at the museum, but I'll review that separately.

Nice hotel, cute town, close enough to the finger lakes to drive just 15 minutes away. The staff was extremely helpful. The dinner has a package deal that is great. The head woman in the restaurant of the Hotel, cannot remember her name, was just great. We truly enjoyed her. She was actually from NJ Shore area. Finger lakes region is closer than we though and just a wonderful place to visit.

The wife and I stayed here for a one night getaway. great hotel, everything is in walking distance. ate at Tony R's great steak, and had a Octoberfest at the Market street Brewery. Then went to some wineries the next day in Hammondsport.

We we were there only for a quick overnight stay and had a wonderful room with a King in the North Wing. The wireless worked seamlessly and and the furnishing were all nice a comfortable. My in-room disappointments the quality of the coffee (abysmal) and the water pressure of the shower. The hallway carpets need cleaning and doors need painting.

Although rates were up for this Columbus Day weekend, the many amenities, central location, and responsive staff made this a decent value. Well-kept workout room with solid equipment adjoins a swim-able indoor pool. Our room was large and well-furnished (refrigerator, toiletries, great electronic connectivity) in contemporary decor. Only glitches were problems were 1) cable TV Didn't give promised channels And 2) shower was not working correctly. The latter was in an accessible room which, though not requested, was assigned because they ran out of regular rooms. Parking was a bit tight.

This hotel is nothing to look at from the outside so I was hesitant, but from checkin onward we had a comfortable, hassle-free stay. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, there was plenty of parking and, best of all, wifi was included (thank you!). The location is just at the end of the local shopping/eating area, so very convenient. The room itself was plain looking, but the comfy couch and exceedingly comfortable bed soon had us overlooking the semi-retro decor. I've marked the hotel down a star in "value" b/c we had to buy a 2-night deal just to stay here the 1 night we wanted, but the total cost was reasonable enough weighed against our strong desire to stay in that location. We'd stay again, but hopefully won't have to buy two nights to get one.
