We go here frequently and always had an excellent meal. The service is good and the fact that
your entree doesn't come while you are still eat your salad is a plus, we like to space out our courses. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food. Highly recommend it for any occasion, or no occasion at all just wanting good food.

We go with friends that rave about the German food, not that we are into it, but we always find better than average alternatives n the menu. I usually do the duck, while my wife does a fish. It is one of the few places that does an escargot, which I very much enjoy (not the best, but very acceptable) and for desert, there is a chocolate fondue.

This local favorite has earned it's reputation because the food and service is consistently excellent. The Price Fixe menu during the week is a very good deal. The fish is always cooked perfectly - which is saying a lot!

We were in the mood for German food and returned to the Canterbury Brook Inn Restaurant. We had the wiener schnitzel and the pan seared pork tenderloin. Both meals were very good. The pork tenderloin was cooked in a mushroom sauce that was very tasty. The wiener schnitzel was also very good-crispy crust but tender inside the cutlet. The spaetzle that accompanied the meals was outstanding. It was very creamy and full of taste not like the usual pasty spaetzle that some restaurant serve. The spaetzle has a lot of body to it.
Our server was very attentive and was always at the table just when we needed her. We did not have to call her over or wait for her to return to the table.
The restaurant was moderately crowded. We have been at the restaurant when there was a wait. The parking is limited at the restaurant. Sometimes it is better to just park on the street and walk a few extra steps.

This restaurant is solidly mediocre. The fried scallops were mostly crust and little scallop. the chicken dish had little taste. Waitstaff tried hard and mostly delivered. I was disappointed.
