We stayed one night and found the room very nice, lots of room even with the heartshaped bathtub in the main room. Very clean and helpful staff to boot. Walking distance to the shops as well. Nearby restaurants too recommended by staff. Lots of tourism brochures in lobby and local papers for reading.More
One of the better hotels in Cortland, VERY convenient to the college. Not fancy (for example the cups in the rooms are disposable plastic) but overall good, dependable and very friendly helpful staff. Decent breakfast buffet included. I stay here when visiting family in the area and it is fine for my family. It is also conveneintly located to the downtown (1 mile), to grocery shiopping and mass merch stores. Food choices are slim picking in the area ... my go to places include: Dougs Fish fry which is nearly across the street (they have amazing fresh fruit sundaes seasonally) and a cute pub in the downtown called Central City bar & grill (yes, you can take children there).

This was our first stay at any Country Inn and Suites. We found the staff excellent and efficient. When we had any questions, they were answered immediately and beyond.
We love sir breakfast. As we eat heathly, we found great choices.
We recommend this lodging highly.

We were in the area visiting Cornell. Booked queen suite and were pleasantly surprised. We were expecting the pull out sofa to simply be added to a slightly larger room. Instead, it had its own room, the entry room with the kitchenette. Front desk was friendly. Breakfast attendant was fabulous. Convenient to Ithaca without the Ithaca price tag. Our stay far exceeded our expectations!

We have other suties in the hotel as well, such as a king suite, with a king bed in the bedroom and the additional living area, in case you prefer a king bed. This is a nice hotel. We were in cortland for 2 days for my grandmas 90th birthday party on saturday. It was cheap paying $83 per night. I also am to to visit the suny cortland college to decide if its a good college or not and the college is within walking distance.

Was looking for an inexpensive hotel close to Ithaca. All the ones in Ithaca were too expense but this fit the bill. And it was only 20-30 minutes away from both Ithaca College and Cornell. So an ideal place to stay when going to visit the campuses.
