My husband and I stopped in after a long weekend of hiking and were on our way back home. Mind you we stopped in at 10am on a Sunday and they were packed. The place is small but the atmosphere lends itself to sharing big tables or eating at the counter, typical diner. The wait staff was great and were incredibly efficient. We met the owner who was a friend in no time. Will definitely be stopping in on our next trip up!

Spent 2 days over the 4th weekend. I was disappointed to find there was no AC. There was a fan but it didn't seem to work very well. Couldn't get a cross breeze because bathroom window wouldn't open. Needless to say, it was high 80s during the day and the room was a hot box. 1st night was miserably hot & uncomfortable; 2nd night wasn't as bad (we couldn't get the cooler outside air into the room well). Beds were ok, just the temperature was the issue. Room itself was fine, simple but no real complaints (TV remote didn't work which was a bit of a pain). Diner and ice cream shop had good food and friendly staff.

Room Tip: no AC - plan accordingly if traveling during hot weather

Rooms are basic, dated with no a/c. The owners are great! They cook the food in the diner and are very helpful with any request. They have Wi-Fi but you must ask for the pass-code. The diner has a ice-cream stand connected and open until about 9pm. The location of Motel and service are above average. The cost of our stay was very reasonable. I would recommend this location.

Room Tip: Bring your own soap. The bathrooms are equipped ONLY wall mounted soap dispenser.

We've just returned from a fantastic road trip around North East USA. While travelling through the Adirondacks we came across the Stone Manor Motel & Diner and decided to give it a go, which turned out to be a very good decision. The rooms, although basic, were more than adequate and the warm welcome we got beats any large chain hotel. The area around it is beautiful at this time of year and worth the trip alone.
We had dinner in the Diner in the evening, which was great, then couldn't wait for the breakfast in the morning, which didn't disappoint either!

Loved the easy access to the beautiful hiking trails and wilderness areas in this amazing region of the Adirondacks. The food is excellent (especially the burgers) and the atmosphere of the diner with the new owners is wonderful. Very nice folks, both the staff and the locals! I also purchased a few great locally made goodies to bring home. I'l be back!

Run, don't walk to this very special place in Cranberry Lake, NY. Tremendous breakfast menu and order the home fries or hash. The breads and rolls are homemade and are terrific tasting. The plates are overflowing and your coffee cup is never empty. The owners work the kitchen and tables - it doesn't get much better than this for breakfast in the Adirondacks.

Stone Manor also has rooms to rent; but, haven't stay there.
