Stayed 2 nights last week. The accommodation was very good, comfortable and clean. We were very well looked after by Georgina & Michael. Excellent breakfasts! Thought I might be put off by lack of evening meal but after late lunches all I needed was a light snack in the evening, in front of the tv. Beautiful location, they deserve to succeed.

Myself, my brother and our other halfs came to Egton Bridge the weekend just gone and I can honestly say that this is the best B&B I have ever stayed in. The welcome we recieved was first class the breakfast was amazing and Michael and Georgina are a lovely couple. Beautiful location with lots of great walks. We went to the local pub for dinner and not only was the food exceptional it was great value too. Will definately be visiting again soon and cant recommend this place enough.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is easy to find, located down a quiet country lane near Egton Bridge, which is a about 20 minutes from Whitby and the coast. Georgina and Michael are charming and helpful hosts and Michael is an excellent breakfast chef! Our room was very comfortable, well equipped and quiet, with french windows opening out onto its own terrace with chairs and a table for sitting out to enjoy the lovely gardens. Breakfast was delicious and I can recommend the Whitby kipper and poached egg option! There are several pubs nearby for evening meals; we enjoyed the Postgate Inn recommended by Georgina and just a few minutes away by car or a 10 minute walk and which serves really good food. I recommend Broom House to you and suggest you book early to avoid disappointment as word of its excellence is already spreading fast!

We stayed here whilst walking coast to coast and getting married en route! What a lovely place to stay the night before our last days walking. The room was amazing and the setting of the place was just brilliant! Sitting outside in the sunshine with a glass of wine on our own patio was brilliant! Close to a number of pubs for evening meal and the room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was extremely tasty, especially the strawberry smoothie made with home grown strawberries - a nice touch!

Had a warm welcome from Georgina and Michael, the new owners, who are committed to maintaining the very high standard of their predecessors. Broom House is beautifully appointed. Our room (no 3) was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with a lovely view across the garden. Michael cooked an excellent breakfast, which included the option of kippers or haddock from Whitby. For an evening meal there are two pubs in Egton Bridge, which serve good food. The village is peaceful, picturesque and convenient for the coast, the moors and local attractions such as the North Yorks Moors Railway. This really is first-class accommodation and we will return.

New owners, Georgina and Michael, were very welcoming producing hot tea and biscuits when we arrived. The entire property was spotless and the room, whilst small, was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and Michael made me a good pack lunch of sandwiches, cake, biscuit, crips and a banana. The only let down was that the restaurant was not open in the evening so we had to walk down to the Postgate Inn for dinner (see separate review). Otherwise an excellent stay and we wish them well.

Thank you very much for your comments and feedback, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us, it was a pleasure to have met you. We do apologise that the restaurant is no longer open, however we feel extremely fortunate that we have two very good pubs only a ten to fifteen minute walk away along the banks of the River Esk. Best wishes, Georgina and Michael.
