My husband and I stayed at 1897 Beekman House while attending a wedding. Chuck and Gerry were perfect hosts accommodating, attentive, but respectful of their guests' space. The house was beautiful appointed and the meals were superb. We are definitely planning on going back for a visit. Chuck and Gerry have really created a wonderful haven for their guests. Kudos to them!!

This is a beautiful Bed and Breakfast perfectly located in the Finger Lakes Region. From the moment we walked into the house, we were made to feel like family by Chuck and Jerry. They are very special people who love sharing their home and love what they do. I am not sure where to begin but since Chuck is a Chef I will start with the breakfasts. They are truly the best, no less than a delight to a foodies palate. Each morning there was a four course breakfast, homemade smoothie by Jerry, pastry, fruit and either a sweet or savory main dish made with home grown vegetables and herbs, yum. The home is beautifully decorated and yet cozy enough to enjoy. One has access to coffee, tea and water all day long. There are only 4 rooms which makes the home very quiet and special. We stayed in the French Room which faces the back and found it perfect for us. The bed was extremely comfortable. I could see the hill in the back and it was a lovely view from my side of the bed. There is no television in the room which suited us just fine. There is one in a room downstairs for all to use but we did not nor did I see anyone else use it. There wonderful front porch to sit on anytime, but the evening was nice place to relax and catch up with other travelers, or Chuck and Jerry after a day of activities. They also have a fire pit with places to sit in the back yard. We were just too tired to join the others. The WiFi works great. Chuck and Jerry made wonderful recommendations for dinners, hikes, shopping etc. I could go on and on but suffice it to say that the Inn is a great place to relax and perfectly located to reach all areas of the wineries and activities in the lakes area. We stayed four nights in Mid July and are were not disappointed. We will recommend this B and B to anyone wishing to stay in this area. Thank you Chuck and Jerry for the going away surprise. We enjoyed it on our ride home.

Room Tip: All rooms lovely each offers something different. We liked the French Room which faced the back. There are no outdoor balconies for any of the rooms.

Thank you, Trip Advisor, for yet another excellent recommendation. We had a perfect stay at the Beekman House. Through our travels, we have stayed in numerous B&Bs and boutique hotels, and this is easily our favorite. The house is spacious, beautifully appointed, immaculately clean, and full of character. Chuck and Gerry were so kind and helpful, and the breakfasts were nothing short of amazing. Our only regret from the trip was that we didn't request a dinner at the house, since Chuck's cooking was far and away the best we experienced in the Finger Lakes. Bravo!

My wife and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend that included staying at the 1897 Beekman House. Rooms were exceptionally comfortable and breakfast were a true treat. Gerry and Chuck were gracious, accommodating, and attentive. House and grounds are immaculate. My wife, who doesn't generally like B&Bs enjoyed it enough to say she would go back:)

Perhaps the only knock is, like in many older buildings there is not great sound proofing so if you want to sleep in until their later breakfast time the early birds are likely to be heard.
