“Fantastic”

Just returned from yet another fab break and this time stayed for a full 7 nights. The cottage is in a fab location for Alton Towers but there is loads to do in and out of the area. We decided to travel to Cadburys World and Drayton Manor which took approximately 1.5hrs. My two girls love it here and are happy playing in the field or entertaining the pony Elliott while the adults sit back and relax in the evening. The cottage itself is very clean and has everything you need for a break away. A lovely friendly family welcome you on arrival. I will continue to use this cottage and will recommend anyone who is looking for a location in the Staffordshire area.

“What a perfect, relaxed break!”
Reviewed 30 September 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We have just returned from a fab little break at Stable cottage and what a brilliant time we all had. The main word I would use to describe this accomodation is relaxed, which I'm sure any parent would agree is most desirable from a break away. From the second we arrived and were greated by the Adorably nice owner Graham who welcomed us with the words.."I know your going to have a brilliant time here" The children were in their element with the child friendly facilities on site..a pony...chickens..football field...and plenty of bikes to ride down the safe country lane, away from the road. the cottage was comfortable and clean with all needed facilities including a nice little welcome tray of coffee tea biscuits fresh eggs from his chickens and toffees!!! Dvds and games also in the cottage. Perfect location to visit local attractions, during our stay we visited Alton towers, Gullivers Matlock and various local national trusts. The local curry house 'Cloves' is a MUST, I recommend the chicken tikka masala bhuna. Over all a brill stay and we hope to return again in the future perhaps trying one of Graham's larger cottages too. Thankyou Graham and family and of course Elliot the pony!xx

“Beautiful place, so grateful we found it”

We booked this cottage as a base to visit Alton Towers. However we really wish we had more time to spend here. A lovely place for our young daughters to play, safely and happily. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could need. There is a lovely field for the children to play in, the pony Elliot was a real hit. We would love to come back and would happily recommend to family and friends.

“Fantastic Stay at Stable Cottage”
Reviewed 15 May 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We have just got back from a 4 day break at Stable Cottage. The cottage was very well equipped, stocked and cleaned to a high standard. It was our first holiday with our newborn baby and we were made ot feel extremley welcome. I can not speak highly of Graham and his family we are already planning our next trip.
