“Gone Downhill!”
Reviewed 4 August 2013

I loved this place the first time I went- excellent service and food. However when I returned last week it was completely changed. We had a 7:00 reservation and weren't seated until 7:30. The hostess was incredibly rude when we asked how long it would be. The food came out bland and tasteless, some of it cold. Location still was beautiful but very dissapointed with the rest.

“Nice restaurant, but simple. Food is good.”
Reviewed 3 August 2013 via mobile

Excellent view on 3-mile harbour, music very loud, mainky serve fish, which is well prepared and tasty, but no haute cuisine. For the Hamptons not expensive, but for real world measures quite expensive.

“Best atmosphere and on the water!!! Very romantic!!”
Reviewed 7 July 2013 via mobile

The place is not that far from the village and its worth to drive 4 miles from Main Street you can not get a better view and the fish was absolutely perfect and simply grilled. The cold plate half tower was a little bit expensive (~70$) but nothing is cheap in the hamptons. Everything else was reasonably priced. Out waiter Stephan was attentive but not too much and even arranged for complimentary after dinner drinks. The place was busy so make the reservation I'm advance for weekends.

“Fabulous lobster, great atmosphere”
Reviewed 1 July 2013

We came here as it was near the house we were renting in East Hampton and we were so pleased with our choice. The location, looking out over the water as the sun set, was beautiful, and the waiter/maitre d' immediately gave us a table closer to the window when we asked. The staff were all very friendly and made the evening special for us. Then the food came and was as good as we had hoped ... in particular, the lobster was amazing. For the Brits amongst us this was a rare treat that lived up to expectations..really tasty and looked great too. When the waiter asked what we were celebrating (the champagne might have been the giveaway), the birthday guest (me) was presented with a fabulous pistachio ice on a chocolate fondant dessert with candle... a very nice touch and much appreciated. Would definitely return if I ever come back to East Hampton...
