This is a state park that NY state pays little or no attention to. They have a beautiful pool but they have not opened it in two yrs ? They also boast a wonderful campground that has also not opened in over two yrs , even though when it was open you needed make reservations months in advance . Go figure ? The beaches well let's say the sand is not sand at all it is gravel that from a distance looks like sand . This is the sand they put in to replace natures version . Parking lots are overgrown , what a shame so what is the 8.00 charge for ? Maybe for the views that's the only thing this forgotten beauty has left thanks to the ny state parks and recreation!!!!! No longer the jewel it used to be :(
