This was my first visit to Canny Corner I loved it soooo much that I have booked it again for 4 nights this time, so I can savour the awesome views and will have more time to spend at Canny Corner which is aptly named. Morag has thought off everything log fire games, books dvds the lot, couldn't have asked for more, cannot wait to return. Excellent value for money!!!

“Fantastic holiday rental!”

This was our second weekend stay at Canny Corner and I am confident we'll be back again in future. Set over 3 levels, it is spacious and comfortable for family or small group holidays. In fact, I had three of the best nights of sleep I've had in ages in the comfy Master bed.

Our two young children love the cupboard full of DVDs and games, as well as the lovely little back garden, rendering the bag of toys we brought with us fairly useless! The kitchen is well equipped and the log fire in the living room was put to good use after a couple of days of dipping our toes in the chilly April waters in both Anstruther harbour and St Andrews beach.

We were delighted to find the famous Anstruther chip shop was a mere 5 min walk from the house and had a another delicious meal at the Bank pub, just further along into Anstruther - I'd recommend, but book a table as their dining room is busy!

All in all I would highly recommend this for a weekend or longer break, and have already done so to friends and family looking for a relaxing escape by the sea.

“Canny Corner.”
Reviewed 9 April 2017 for a stay in April 2017

Just back from an excellent stay at the Canny Corner. What an ideal location for seeing all that's around this beautiful part of Scotland...the sea is right on your doorstep!!! When tide was out the boys and I explored along the shoreline!!!

The house itself is beautiful and a great size for the 6 of us...3 levels...lovely and spotless on our arrival...beds were very comfortable too. You can just imagine the history of the building too!! Magical!!!

Anstruther itself is a beautiful wee seaside town with loads of nice places to eat...award winning fish and chips too!!! And cellardyke harbour is stunning too!!! You can picture it bustling in years gone by!!

Would just like to say thank you again to Morag and Allan and I think I'll bring my golf clubs next time to play some of the stunning golf courses all around!!

Loved it!!!

We stayed in this lovely house when were attending a family party the owner was accommodating we needed a late entry due to travel arrangements .The house has a lot of character is clean and well presented with lovely sea views. We also liked the assortment of games and books. This house is ideal with all mod cons we will use this house again when visiting family in Scotland.

“A fabulous house in a brilliant location.”

Can't recommend Canny Corner enough! Spread over three levels, it's thoughtfully decorated and boasts a wonderful location and great views from the upper floors.

The house was cosy, but we loved the added treat of the log fire to toast our toes after walks up and down the coast.

The charms of Cellardyke and Anstruther harbours are literally a few minutes walk away.

All this for an very reasonable rate.

Thanks a million Morag & Allan.

Looking forward to returning soon!
