“Big surprise”
Reviewed 12 August 2014

Sometimes you could accidentally fall into something. In this case you could have actually stayed 2 houses away and not have realized that a few doors away was a place that was night and day away from the other. The spectacular views from this beautiful home was priceless. Ok maybe the price helped in that we grabbed a last minute deal and took the smallest room to get back to the Hamptons, but the size of the room in this case didn't matter. Like I said I could have stayed 2 houses away and had a room 3 times the size and wouldn't feel the experience that we had at Seatuck Cove B&B. The cleanliness was only surpassed by the amenities which were a stand out. The award winning breakfast by Colleen was only surpassed by her sweetness, contrary to what her sister says(LOL). This is a person that was made to run a B&B. I also have to mention the people that we met at this beautiful place. Maybe we were lucky, but from Colleen's sister to the many guests that we spoke to everyone was beyond friendly and nice. I am certain that this channels down from the hospitable and warm feeling that Colleen gives to all her guests. Her kitchen was open to us at all times and when we thought we lost our key to the room Colleen couldn't have been more accomodating. Having such a beautiful view as you are enjoying a wonderful breakfast was just so fulfilling. Having a great view from the pool was also awesome. I would only suggest possibly adding a few more chairs outside so that more guests could get to know one another should they want to lie out. Although sitting in the chairs that Colleen has next to the water is also extremely relaxing while also offering a magnificent view. Needless to say that we enjoyed our stay at Seatuck. It was truly one of the best, if not the best hideaway that I have found in the Hamptons. Maybe next time we will try a suite but for the amount of time spent in the room, due to the beautiful outdoor surroundings, I am not sure if it is necessary. But I know that it would have still been well worth it even if we had paid for a suite if one were available. There is no way that you cannot walk away happy from there. Thanks to Colleen for such a great memory and I am certain there will be countless more in the years to come.

The setting is outrageous, the house immaculate, the rooms gorgeous, and Colleen, the award winning private chef is your host leaves you wanting NOTHING!.
You relax quickly in this setting on the bay and look forward to the breakfasts and Hor'Derves. The property is 5 minutes from WestHampton Beach but you feel like you are in another world.
Just pass by and stop in--You will not leave without staying or taking a dip in their Saltwater heated pool on the Bay

I booked a night for Valentine's day as a surprise for my girlfriend. This place is beautiful and Colleen is the best!

We stayed in the Seatuck Suite which has AMAZING views of the water. Even with everything covered in snow and ice, it was still beautiful views from the room and balcony.

The room is huge. It has a nice sitting room with a couch, chair, and TV. The bedroom is huge with great views and a comfortable bed. The bathroom had double sinks, a jacuzzi tub, and a rain shower head.

They have a nice living room downstairs with a TV and pool table.

We ate a very good meal at Trumpets On The Bay, which is right across the street from the house.

When we arrived Colleen had made us chocolate covered strawberries for Valentine's day and the next morning she made a delicious breakfast of chocolate chip scones, berries and cream, and lemon ricotta pancakes.

We even saw a seal swimming in the water on our last day!

We'll definitely be staying there again soon!

I looked at all the reviews before visiting Seatuck Cove House and it was everything and more that I had read. It was just what I had hoped for a beautiful property with the most amazing views. We were well looked after by Colleen and Eileen with an excellent breakfast on both mornings, the hospitality was great without being obtrusive. we left feeling like friends and we will be back and highly recommend. Only disappointment was we only stayed two nights our visit will be longer next time. .

We stayed 2 nights for our first visit to Long Island. The house and the views are magnificent - beautiful common spaces, wrap around porch on the back overlooking the water and wonderful friendly staff. Breakfast was delicious: Banana bran muffins, fresh fruit cup, omelets with fresh herbs and cheese and bacon with coffee and juice. Suggest you pick up dinner like we did and eat on the back porch watching the sunset. We will be back. Everything about the property was pristine and well cared for. Beds were very comfy providing a restful night sleep. Colleen gave us great suggestions on the area.

Much more than a beautiful property on a beautiful setting. We have been here before and hope to return at least once a year.
Clean,Homey, and above all as comfortable as it can be. The Manager, Colleen is a sweet heart. She has become a friend. She will bend over backwards to see that you are comfortable.
We have travelled to over 60 countries, and most of the U.S. and this is the ONLY establishment with enough class to offer "Truvia" with your tea or coffee. A small thing ? Maybe. BUT, indicative of the type of establishment you are at.

Seatuck Cove House Memorable Moments:

The Seatuck Cove House is in an extraordinarily active area at the far western edge of the Hamptons during the Pre-Labor Day week:
There was a Helicopter flyover on Tues. with a flight path toward Westhampton, 6 Sky Divers Wed. on a drop jump to the west of town and Boaters on the Bay, throughout the week, out of the private Sea Salvage Marina, jetting toward the Westhampton Dunes Barrier Island. During the course of the mid-week stay, you could view some individuals net fishing near the inlet island, 2 kayakers skimming around the west side of the Bay, in addition to, watching a 2 person watercraft where the second person slipped off into the middle of the Bay.

In a quieter moment, my wife and I, fortunately sighted a Black Tailed Deer with a yearling in the Meadow, from our Marina Room Balcony.

The Seatuck Breakfast at 9 am was delicious, we especially loved the Waffles, Pancakes, Cranberry Scones, Corn Muffins and Yogurt with fresh berries.

During our 3 night stay we sampled Eastport's restaurants:
Trumpets by the Bay was next door with a Seafood and Italian Menu, Citarelli's Market is in town for Specialty Take-Out, with Lin's Chinese Kitchen and Luigi's Pizza available for Delivery.

The shopkeepers in the Antique Town of Eastport were friendly and suggested Main St. in Westhampton Beach for Tourist Shopping and beachy activities.

We would like to see for next year:

Logo Beach Towels and Beach Umbrella by the Pool

Honor Mini Bar on the terrace with Sign in/out clipboard including sodas, juices, bottled waters and snacks

Afternoon Soup Service Dining (1 vegetable soup and 1 chowder) with assorted cheese and crackers
