I grew up near Elbridge and went to school there K-12. I graduated in 1961. On a trip back specifically to visit the area my first stop was for lunch at this delightful Cafe,
The structure was built in approximately 1835 and has gone through many transformations, including Everett's Red & White Grocery, from whence the cafe gets its current name, and a US Post Office, among other uses.
The food was great (try their milk shakes) and the staff was friendly. You can get a good lunch there, not just deserts.
I highly recommend the Red & White Creamery Cafe.
