We decided to go here since restaurant.com haf a coupon. Opens at 4pm for dinner, so we arrived at 5pm. Gracious welcome and seated promptly. Atmosphere was nice, not the most elegant but it was clean. This I believe is part of the golf course, so maybe it was the country club. Food was overpriced, but portion size was large. Overall taste of the food was very average. Nothing set this place apart. The service was very good, and the italian lemmon desert was very good. Decent meal, with 25 dollar coupon applied we payed 45 for two standard dinners.

We had a Living Social coupon for 1/2 price food, went there on a Friday night, and sat at a booth in the bar area. There was a lot of foot traffic in and out of the area (from outside) where the golfers were entering and exiting. Also, a tournament had apparently taken place and the back room was full. Plus a table of little kids acting up next to us kept the volume up. That being said, the breaded fish fry was excellent, along with the sides. Good choices of draft beers in frosty mugs (a plus). Price wasn't too bad. The service was quite fast given the big crowd. And many TVs in the bar area. We didn't realize it but if you want a more quiet surrounding there are tables in the back wing which were MUCH quieter (for couples, etc.) All in all, very good experience.

Our first meal at the Argyle Grill certainly will not be our last! The service was very prompt, our server (Katie) was pleasant and attentive, and the food (Reuben sandwich and broiled haddock) was delicious! There was a large variety on the menu; we already want to go back to try the options we didn't choose. The seating was comfortable and cozy, although we sat around the corner from the main area; the room into which the main entrance opened seemed cold. A new favorite restaurant for a relaxed meal!

I have eaten here several times over the past number of years. The setting is casual with a sports/golf theme and several large tv's. The menu is a wide variety of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, dinner entrees and a huge sized Friday fish - fried or broiled. The bar is large and comfortable. The staff is friendly, but the service tends to be abit slow, even when they are not really busy.
In the colder months of the year the front eating area can be chilly with the opening of the door as customers enter and leave, so dress warmly.
Overall a good, predictable meal out and will visit again.

Shared a meal here with in laws, wife, 15 year old daughter and twin 8 year old boys. It was at treat. Excellent variety on menu, kids menu was great (including pancakes for dinner) and service was very prompt. All of our food was excellent including a few wraps, a burger and my pecan crusted chicken breasts with risotto. I've had the best restaurants in Rochester screw up the risotto and this chef had it spot on! Amazingly, risotto is offered as a side to all meals on Friday and Saturday. Clam Chowder was the soup of the day and was clearly homemade with TONS of fresh, whole clams. The place is on the backside of a golf clubhouse and is fine in appearance. Don't sit by the door if its cold out! 7 diners with drinks....$85! Great deal! Will have to keep this is a stand by for quick meals.
