Haven't been here in years. Think it is time to try it again. Hear it is still excellent. Had steak when I went and it was one of the best we had in a long time.

We've been going to Ruby's for a few years now for its delicious food, relaxing atmosphere, great art, and live music (give them a call for the schedule of performers). They serve up locally crafted beers, have an excellent wine list, and transform fresh ingredients into a gourmet meal. It's not THAT far off the beaten path...so take a ride. You don't want to miss this place.

We were somewhat limited on where to eat in this area and decided to try Ruby's based on TripAdvisor reviews. We are glad we did. The atmosphere was very relaxing with great music playing in the background. Frank showed us around the place and the gallery upstairs was a nice touch. As it was a weekday night, we were the only customers for a while and got to know the background of the place. The food was excellent, very fresh and cooked to order. The calamari on celery salad was worth going back for. Kudos to the owners for making it happen. We go up to this area yearly and will certainly go back.

We love Ruby's and it's our favorite place to end up on a Friday night. We come up from the city on Friday nights and if we can get there early enough we always want to make it to Ruby's. We love to sit outside by the creek under a beautiful Pine tree with colorful lights strung from it. The food is always good and made from local fresh ingredients. The owners Frank and Ana grow a lot of the produce in their own organic garden. The atmosphere is always welcoming and warm. It's off the beaten path but well worth the trip.

Like a step back to a soda fountain in the 40's and 50's...but the food is fabulous. A real gourmet restaurant in an out of the ordinary spot. The building was built on the mid 1800's. The restaurant uses local foods and the menu changes almost daily. Everything we ordered was amazingly delicious. Want to stay the night? There are renovated, 40's style rooms upstairs wih modern bathrooms. Very cozy. Into local artists? There is also an upstairs gallery. If you are in Freehold, don't miss this spot!
