Chef owner was congenial, present and meets the patrons. The place is out of the way, loud and busy on a Saturday night in May. Mainly locals were present. It could be confused with an actual Tuscany family owned restaurant if you pretended everyone was speaking Italian. The food is good, Northern Italian Style, with large portions and relatively slim prices. Service was slow on a busy night, but wasn’t painful because of cool staff who were totally relaxed. We had chicken parm and scampi over pasta. Homemade pasta was $2.00 extra and worth it. Leftovers, including great bread with thick crusts, were perfect the next day. Their “good Italian” gets great with age.
