“Beautiful, immaculately kept”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 1 July 2011

I stayed the at the Inn one night for my daughter's freshman orientation at SUNY Geneseo. The Inn is a two minute walk to the school and the town. The innkeepers were lovely and helpful, but not intrusive (which is sometimes the case). The inn itself was immaculately kept. and the furnishing were beautiful, but not too delicate to enjoy. Stayed in Han's room which overlooked Main Street, it was quiet with and without the windows open. Wonderful experience. I would definitely stay again.

The Annabel Lee is located right in "downtown" Geneseo, so you can walk anywhere you need to go. The inn is beautifully restored and obviously lovingly maintained. Spotlessly clean, very quiet and Pattie and Don have thought of absolutely everything you might need. There is a full service kitchen on the second floor that leads to a lovely open air porch - the view is tremendous. I had to be up early to attend a conference at the college and Pattie thoughtfully had the coffee all set up, along with stocking plates, cutlery, toaster, fruit, muffins, yogurt, etc. They thought of everything. Wish I could have stayed longer!

Room Tip: Just tell Pattie or Don what you want!

I love this place. The rooms are cute, the food is great and the house is gorgeous. We love coming back every year, and the best part is when we spend time in the kitchen or on the back deck just relaxing.

Pattie and Donald were great hosts, warm friendly, and made us feel right at home. This was our third stay at the Annabel Lee and we would go back again!!! This Inn is a beautiful Victorian home with great charm. The rooms are quaint, quiet, and very clean. In walking distance to restaurants and shops. Letchworth State Park is nearby which is a must see. Also, there are several winery's in the area which are also fun to visit!! Great B&B would go back again!!!!!!

We have stayed with hosts Pattie and Donald Cavanaugh at the Annabel Lee in Geneseo, New York many times since my daughter entered SUNY Geneseo. Pattie and Donald are the best hosts....friendly, fun and pleasant to be around. The Inn is a charming Victorian house with beautifully appointed rooms, and comfortable beds. The location on Main Street is perfect for walking to shops, the college and restaurants. The breakfasts that Pattie & Donald prepare are delicious and their hospitality can't be beat. While our daughter attended college in Geneseo, we truly considered the Annabel Lee our home away from home. We plan to visit in the future even though our daughter graduated.

Wow!!! What a great place to stay. It's clean, quiet, comefortable beds and a delicious breakfast. Pattie and Don are wonderful hosts. We stayed in the Hummingbird Nest with its own little patio with lovely sunrises and sunsets to savour. A delightful room. You are close to a great small town with lots of places to eat and a short ride to shopping and Lake Conesus (one of the Finger Lakes). We took a trip to Letchworth State Park, a place not to be missed. We also went to Arcadia and enjoyed an old-fashioned steam engine ride. Patty and Don took an especial liking to my sister who is handicapped and they made her feel very special. This place is great for a short weekend or even longer. Definitely a recommended place.

This is a very convenient and attractive B&B to stay in. The beds are very comfortable; the rooms are cozy and quiet. Breakfast is self-serve (stayed there 4 times) - fruit, yoghurts, a breakfast cake, and juice/coffee/tea. It's not fussy and that suits us. Located on the main street of Geneseo, it is an easy walk to bookstores and out to eat. It's very convenient to SUNY Geneseo, but fills up for college events well in advance. We love being able to go for a walk in the evening along the wide sidewalks for window shopping and also into the Victorian neighborhoods as well. Your child at Geneseo can easily meet you in town as it is just up from the campus. Good choice.
