it was easy to book, comfortable, and charming. Lady Di was a lovely hostess, and made us the most delicious breakfasts. I highly recommend staying at the 1907 Bragdon House. Also, Dexter the cat, and Cooke the dog, were adorable

Room Tip: there are no bad rooms

My husband and myself wanted to try a different type of weekend getaway and we weren't sure what to expect. We are social drinkers but not necessarily wine experts for we drink wine simply because we enjoy it. We chose the Bragdon house for it had wonderful reviews and we were not disappointed. The house was spotless and the innkeepers Diane and Jen were fantastic! We felt right at home and the breakfast that they serve was awesome. We also did their 6 hour private wine tour and we were very grateful that we did. There are many wineries in the area and if we did this solo we would have no idea what ones to visit. It was a very relaxing experience for based on our preferences in wine Diane knew exactly what wineries to take us. Also having a designated driver was extremely beneficial. I had concerns that I would get bored with visiting wineries for 6 hours but that was not the case at all. There are also breweries you can visit and went to the the climbing bines which ended up being one of our favorite spots. The B&B is in walking distance to various restaurants and their food was very good. Overall we're convinced that we found a new fall weekend getaway for several years to come. Thanks Diana and Jen for giving us a fun filled weekend.

This place is excellent,The rooms are beautifull and the beds soooo comfortable.
The view over the rear lawn is stunning, which works brilliantly with a superb brekfast.
Unfortunatley we only had one night here, but would definatley return.
A friendly place full of beauty both inside and outside the home.... I don't think you could ask for more

What great things have not been said about Jen and Diana that other haven't already acknowledged? We stayed three nights when Jen was hosting and cooking. OMG we didn't need lunch. Double baked French toast, thicker than Texas toast, soufflé and eggs, sausage, etc with yogurt parfaits. Never left hungry. In fact we were coaxed to take the delicious fresh made scones and carrot cupcakes with us for the day or road. And this place attracts the greatest guests from Canada, Texas, Virginia and Boston (us) who were a pleasure to converse with and compare where we were going and had eaten. Jen and Diana are also a treasure trove of information on where to eat, what wineries to go to (along with free tasting slips), and what sites to see (ask about the pontoon boat sunset tour). On our second day, we opted to let Diana ferry us around Keuka Lake wineries (we drove all around Seneca Lake the first day per Jen's instructions). She is a stitch and a great traveling companion. We stayed in the Phoebe w/separate bath. Just great and so comfortable, it made it difficult to get up in time for breakfast. But then nobody made it down til 9 AM. A must stay the next time we're there.

Room Tip: Stay on street side if you want the windows open. The lake side is a bit noisier with windows open due to the highway below. If AC is needed, no problem front or back.

We just returned from our Honeymoon at Bragdon House B&B. This was a surprise wedding gift from my sister. We were thoroughly impressed by the friendliness of our hosts, Jen & Diana. Though we had just met, we immediately flet as if we'd known them for years, as old family friends. The breakfasts were gourmet excellence- WOW. The entire house was well decorated with much attention to detail. We stayed in Mr. Hoskin's Study, which was very cozy, comfortable and met our needs very nicely. The other guests were very friendly and we enjoyed their conversation and company at the breakfast table. My wife and I had never been to the Finger Lakes before, so we had no idea what attractions we wanted to see. Both Jen and Diana were very knowledgeable about the region, and made several suggestions that we tried. The effort put forth by Diana certainly made our honeymoon special and memorable. We now are novice wine connoisseurs, who plan a return visit as soon as we deplete the supply we purchased from the vineyards that Diana recommended.
