The locavore movement shines at Leaf Kitchen. The food is delicious, the atmosphere low key and relaxed. Local everything, from meat and veg, to beer and wine. Varied menu with ethnic and vegetarian/vegan choices as well as great American standards The burgers made from locally sourced beef, will blow your mind, and the meatloaf is a dream. Mac and Cheese, forget about it. Owners Tatiana and Jack are welcoming and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are dining in their home, not a restaurant. If you are in Geneva, this is one place not to miss, and if you aren't in Geneva, it's worth the special trip.

Leaf is fun and quirky, from its location in a house in a sort-of strip mall to its passionate use of local and fresh ingredients. It specializes in poutines, those decadent French Canadian combos of french fries, cheese and various gravies. What's not to love? I know it's trendy right now but it really is important to know where your food comes from and to support small farms and local producers. Leaf does that and does it without being preachy about it. We'll be back!

The reviews of this restaurant made it sound great. Their online menu also looked interesting. Unfortunately, we tried to eat at this restaurant on a Sunday afternoon and never got seated. It appeared that they were short staffed and the existing staff had lost control of the restaurant. There were several empty tables, but instead of seating us two servers came to us and apologized for the wait and said that the other would seat us shortly.

There were tables that needed busing. One server was taking coffee back to the kitchen from two tables because the customers were complaining that it was cold. One server was rushing around like crazy, but not accomplishing much. The other server appeared from the kitchen briefly and then disappeared.

Seeing that even if we ever got seated the service was going to be awful we left.

The menu and the philosophy of the restaurant seemed wonderful. The execution was worse than poor.

I hope that they resolve their staffing issues. It would be nice to give them another try at a later date.

We stopped in at this very cute restaurant in a converted house for a fantastic dinner. The waitress was very friendly and helpful, explained things on the menu and offered suggestions when asked. We also all loved our meals, and we like that they use a lot of local ingredients.

We have heard about this restaurant for some time, but never made it in. Our loss for not trying Leaf Kitchen sooner. Probably the best burger I've ever had! Great, fresh food. Friendly staff. Simple, but pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. Definitely a must if you prefer farm to table dining. Keep up the good work!
