There's more to a B&B than a location and building...And while Paradise has both of those very well covered, the real joy of staying here is the way they make you feel... Geary is one of the most considerate and thoughtful hosts I have ever enjoyed, going out of his way to accommodate my needs and my rather early rising hours each day as I was there while working at the nearby Empire Farm Days event. Breakfasts were varied, healthy, delicious and thoughtfully conceived.... Conversations both morning and evening most enjoyable and enlightening. And thanks to Geary, I will forever be hooked on Marathon bread...especially toasted.
I had the upstairs front room with a georgeous view of the lake and its splendorous sunsets. (Room #1) It has the bathroom detached, across the hall, but it was certainly one of the biggest and nicest bathrooms I've ever seen, Jacuzzi tub and all. If you need a base where your can relax and enjoy in between explorations, this is the place!More
