I recently took my family of 7 along with 14 other of my closest relatives. The cabin had a dorm feeling to it and had plenty of room to spread out or hang out in the gathering room. There is plenty to do indoors like Play pool, ping pong or cards and games. The back bar area was great and had Satellite TV. The professional kitchen was put to use. I enjoyed using the Griddle and having two coffee pots was clutch in the morning. There are 3 sets of washers and dryers, again reminiscent of the old college dorm. As for the outside, you are definitely in the woods secluded away from everything and everyone except for a few private owners on the other side of the pond. We did not see anyone else on the pond at all for the duration of our week. The kids enjoyed the sand on the beach and the clear water. Canoeing and kayaking were daily occurrences. The owner provides horseshoes, bocce ball, all sorts of balls and bats for the kids and let's not forget the fire pit and Weber Grill. Finally, the hammock was popular and never left alone. The only thing I will warn you is that the wildlife is present. Keep in mind it's a cabin in the Adirondacks!
