Bumi Hills Safari Lodge & Spa

I would return again and again. The entire staff answered questions, helped me learn some Tonga phrases (Twalumba nkapati, Member!) Dean's knowledge of the bush and genuine nature made each bush drive a learning adventure. I'm feeling quite lucky to have visited Bumi Hills.

Room Tip: I had a garden room and even THAT had a view of the lake.

If Tripadvisor has 6 stars I would give Bumi Hills 6/5!

My husband and I stayed at Bumi Hills for two days, it was breathtaking experience. We enjoyed game boat and drive looking for wild animals. We were fortunate to have a room with a view to Lake Kariba. I had a spa treatment there, it was fantastic.

A huge commitment to the chef who have cooked all three meals a day. All members of staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They have gone for an extra mile!

I wish I could stay there for more nights, I will definitely highly recommend my family and friends to visit this place. I just saw the newspaper this morning that Bumi Hills are planning to launch cruise boathouse - I will definitely come back for that! I have emailed to Justine (Sale team) about boat house for further information.

Room Tip: Premier rooms have a view of lake.

We had the most glorious Christmas at Bumi Hills, the children were welcomed and catered for, the game drives were most excellent (thank you Dean) and we all had hours of fun in the very inviting pool. A truly great place with out of this world views.

Room Tip: Back room are more family friendly and closer to the pool and dining room

A most amazing destination!!
Bumis unique location and setting, offers the most spectacular views, an abundance of wildlife and first class accommodation, cuisine and personalised service.
Each trip for us has resulted in special and memorable experiences, from catching my first trophy 'Tiger Fish' off Starvation Island last year, to a close and personal encounter with an 'Ele' that got too friendly on our recent visit in October.
Looking forward to returning again soon.

Room Tip: Front Rooms with lake view are a must!
