We tried this restaurant this past weekend, as living locally, we would always see customers sitting outside the restaurant, on the circle. I noticed the menu had on every page a remark that you sit outside at your own risk (which being on the traffic circle, it is a bit unnerving to constantly seeing the cars zip by, and hopefully always making the turn) – but we really enjoyed sitting outside with the weather being so nice this night. We started with drinks (their regular Margareta was very good – served in a mason jar with a handle). The white wine we would skip next time – not really chilled, and probably something from a $5-8 bottle for $7 a glass. We started with their chips and salsa/guacamole which was fantastic. We would go back just for this and a couple of drinks. We then also tried the jerk chicken tacos and the brisket tacos. These also were very, very good. You get 2 tacos per plate, with rice and beans and sour crème. This was perfect as we each had one of each taco. The jerk chicken was the best of the 2 – grilled chicken and a grilled shell (we ordered the soft tacos). The Service was a bit slow, which I think was partly the servers were inexperienced. The part that was very slow was when we said we were ready for the bill, the server didn’t come back for at least 10 minutes, to which I went inside to find her. She said she would bring it out, but I was looking to pay and she hadn’t added it up yet. Overall not bad, and I’m sure the servers will get better. We will definitely go back as the food far outweighed the service issues.
