We stayed here to coincide with a visit to Thorpe Park and the Harry Potter Studio Tour. We booked well in advance and got a great rate on a family room. The room was clean and comfortable and the reception staff were friendly. We've recently had a bad stay at another travelodge so we were dreading this stay, but it turned out to be fine. The only thing that could have made it better would have been a car park of it's own, but the one over the road is free between 6pm and 7am anyway so it wasn't a huge issue. Don't expect luxury and you won't be disappointed.

Attended the ministry of sound event at thorpe park on saturday the 5th of july and chose to stay here for the night. The price was very cheap and cheerful! Room was spotless, as was the bathroom. The guy on reception was very nice and very helpful. Great stay, would definately come back!

As regular Premier Inn users we thought we'd try a Travelodge on a recent visit to Legoland. We were met by a friendly and helpful staff member but were disappointed by our family room. The kids beds were rock hard with nasty bobbly nylon type sheets, no air con (it was a really hot night ) and 2 plastic cups - not a cup each. The recent TV ads quite misleading.

I am an avid visitor to Travelodge's wherever we go and always recommend them to friends.

After planning a weekend to Thorpe Park, this was the first place we looked at and book it in plenty of time online, making a great saving against the other options locally found.

The rooms have been refurbished recently, with big comfy king size beds and the bathrooms are clean and spacious...the hotel was a bit warm but that is what can be expected in the middle of a heatwave.

The hotel is opposite so many food establishments you would need to be anorexic not to be happy...McDonalds, Nandos and Frankie and Bennies are a stones throw away

The staff at reception were courteous on both occasions (evening and morning) and can't really suggest anything else that could've been done to improve our stay

Room Tip: Try and get a room that is facing the back of the building to avoid any traffic noise

A few of us stopped here a few days ago as we went to Thorpe Park. Location wise this Travelodge is brilliant for those doing the same, although as there's no onsite parking, drivers need to park in the retail park opposite for a fee (parking is free between 6pm and 7am). The night we stayed though was awful, as it was so warm it was almost impossible to sleep! Nearly all windows at the hotel were open and other than a little office fan in the room, there was no way at all to get cool! This also brought another problem which was the noise.. as the hotel is opposite a retail park with a McDonalds, the noise from boy racers in and out was terrible. It's a shame because the hotel itself is clean and modern, but with the noise and the lack of being able to keep the room cool means i don't think we will return.

Greeted by friendly staff in a clean reception. Easily found our room and was really pleased with the cleanliness and facilities that were in there. The shower was consistently warm and offered good water pressure. The mattress was very comfortable and there was hardly any external noise. Overall very happy!

I stayed here one night with colleagues this week before a meeting in Egham . I had stayed here before but this visit I noticed a big improvement with the refurbished rooms . Very comfy king size beds . The hotel is in a great location for popping out for food , loads of choice to walk to . I think this is a very positive example of a travel lodge and we all got breakfast from the mcdonalds next door .
