It was the Thursday before Labor Day weekend- close to the end of weekday trade in the North Fork of Long Island. Our ambitions were limited-fresh local local seafood, small plates. Ambitions met-the blue points were fresh and local, the tuna tartare was excellent, hummus with saffron was new and great. Very appealing to walking trade- not cheap, but it is summer in Peconic County.
