We have watched this location change hands and menus numerous times. This evening we went to dinner and had an enjoyable experience. We were greeted warmly and promptly seated in a mostly empty dining room, although the bar was quite lively. The menu is typical, but does have some less seen items such as fried green beans as an appetizer. Entrees combine American and Greek selections. Being a seafood lover, my wife chose the swordfish and found it to be moist and flavorful. Our server offered her a choice of rice or extra vegetables and she took the vegetables which turned out to be a combination of eggplant, onions, red and green peppers braised to the point of tenderness, but not overcooked. I went with the pork souvlaki platter, nicely marinated pork pieces cooked to be very tender. This was accompanied by french fries, for which sweet potato fries were substituted and a mini, but substantial Greek salad, which surprisingly had a stuffed grape leaf as part of it. This was particularly interesting as it was flavored with mint.
The menu says they will accommodate requests for special items and in asking one the owners, this is not to mean they will accommodate requests for items not on the menu, they will try and prepare what they offer to your needs. A very nice touch. We were also told that they are offering daily specials to see what other items might become regular offerings.
While there are other Greek style restaurants in the area, their varied menu should generate enough traffic to make it a success.
