“Fabulous!”
Reviewed 25 July 2014 via mobile

Popped into this wonderful restaurant for the first time tonight. Loved everything about it. The ambience, front windows open to the street, with a view of the boats on the water. The owner is very hands on, even bringing out food himself. And the food....wow! Mussels were tasty and plentiful. We had the halibut, and scallops. Both unreal. Imagine our surprise when the chef came out to thank us personally for us sending our complements to him. He clearly loves food and it shows. Highly recommend!

“Food and prices are better than expected”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

Had the fish and chips. It was enough to share for a late night stop. Fish and fries were both crisp on the outside and tender on the inside (perfect!). The meal came with a mixed green salad and some small bread/toasts.

Wish they had more outside seating, but in Greenport it's hard to come by.. The front of the restaurant is all glass so it provides a view of the park and part of the port area.

Pricing was much better than expected compared to the other local establishments.

I'll be back next time I'm through there...

“Eat Drink and Flounder, Just for the Halibut”
Reviewed 9 July 2014

and that is exactly what we did! I have heard many rave reviews about this brand new place on Front Street in Greenport. The views of Mitchell Park overlooking the harbor is just stunning. The atmosphere of this place is fantastic, very modern. I love the blue lamps that hang over the bar, and the blue neon lights on top of the bar. The food is outstanding, fire roasted oysters with andouille sausage and spinach, yumm! Then the halibut! The best halibut I have ever had in my life. My husbands tuna tartare was outstanding as well. The prices are very reasonable, and the wine tap system is just great. Can't find another one around in Greenport. The service was impeccable, the waitstaff, the bartender, and owner all extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The chef even came out and checked on us and asked how everything was. I love this place, and everyone needs to try it

“A little surprise in the middle of front street”
Reviewed 1 July 2014 via mobile

We enjoyed a delicious seafood dinner here Saturday night. We went expecting the food to be THIS good as it isn't a fancy atmosphere, but what a surprise. I had the halibat and my husband had the surf and turf kabobs--both outstanding. The service was outstanding. This restaurant has a nice location across from Mitchell park. We enjoyed great live music with our late dinner. Also featured is a large wine tap with local wines as well as both led wines. This is a great little find and we wish the new owners well!

“Very good new place”
Reviewed 28 June 2014

As a local, I like to try the new places and support businesses. We went last Saturday night and were not disappointed. The menu has a really great selection from sandwiches to full entrees. Our group had Jumbalaya, the Chicken Salad wrap and the scallops. All were very good. Recommend you try this new al fresco Greenport offering.
