What a wonderful find! It's easy to drive right past and not notice this lovely unassuming restaurant, but it's well worth a visit. It has a casual, relaxed atmosphere, so I was a little thrown by the menus not having a price list. The food was so wonderful we soon stopped worrying. We had gnochetti with pistachio cream sauce, calamari with aioli, flounder stuffed with crab, shrimp and scallops, and a fillet steak with rosemary and blue cheese topping, served in a Madeira wine gravy. The food was amazing, the portions are huge and the waiting staff are charming and unobtrusive. All in all it was a lovely evening and a wonderful meal. If you were being extremely critical you would say the food is over seasoned (too much salt and sugar) but I think that is just a difference in the American/British taste. Sit outside on the deck for a lovely view of the sea, and watch the boats go by. It doesn't get much better than this.
