We've taken our kids to Dubois farms for the past two years and have always had a great time. They open to the public in August and stay open throughout the fall with different fruit to pick almost every week. What sets them apart from the other pick your own farms is all of the fun activities they offer. There is a tiny town for kids to play in which includes a school house, a jail, a store and other small buildings. There are also pony rides available for a small fee. My daughter loves the pony rides and I love that they have a few ponies that take turns giving rides so that one pony is not made to work continuously. They seem to be very well cared for. Other farm animals live at the farm as well. You can also enjoy a BBQ lunch at the farm and take home some baked goods from the store. We can't make a visit without taking home some of their delicious apple cider donuts.
