Craving a hot cup of hot and sour soup, decided to try Asian Garden on a cold winter night. We found a restaurant that offered a surprising variety of food, Japanese and Chinese, with sushi, sashimi, hibachi, noodles, standard Chinese fare, and even Thai entrees. The restaurant was clean and bright, with a counter that housed the sushi chef who created an extensive selection of sushi rolls, both raw and cooked. We made the "mistake" of ordering without an awareness of portion size! The prices were so reasonable that we assumed they would be small (how wrong we were!). When the waitress brought our hot and sour soups (delicious) in the enormous bowls, we wondered if we should quickly reduce our orders. As we started in on the soup, she arrived with our sushi roll which was cut into eight pieces. It truly was the best sushi roll I have ever had! By the time we had finished the soup and rolls, we had decided we could only manage a bite of our two entrees (a Hot and Spicy Beef and Chicken Pad Thai). These portions were also huge, so we had them boxed up and enjoyed them on two subsequent meals. The waitress was friendly and was also kept busy with their take-out business. We will definitely be back!
