“Perfect for late night snack!”

Dont let the appearance put you off! This little hidden paradise serves you the best chicken afra in the area. Called in here several times on the way home, you can eat in the private garden or takeaway, prices very good and the chicken is always cooked fresh. Too good to miss!

“An oasis at the crossroads”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 3 January 2013

At the busy cross roads in Kotu, adjacent to the Elton supermarket, petrol station and across from Ali Baba's is the Elton Afra. Here, in the evenings (from approximately 6.30pm onwards)simple, but wonderful, grilled chicken or lamb is freshly grilled to order on a roaring log fire and is served in the little tree and shrub lined garden. You can have it with or without grilled onions and with or without a hot and spicy sauce. A take away service is also provided. Soft drinks are available or you may choose instead to purchase these from the adjacent supermarket - there is no restriction on consumption. Cost is approximately £3 for a good serving of chicken, with the lamb, approximately a pound more. Both meats are served on the bone.
