We found Sambas Kitchen on our first night and it is an absolute delight to eat there. We were staying at Plama Rima for 14 nights and ate here every night apart from 3 times. The food is excellent, especially the spare ribs. We also tried the fish dishes and were not disappointed - the Lobster was stunning. There is so much to choose from on the menu that you cannot get tired of the choices. Samba is a lovely genuine guy and so grateful to all his customers - he makes a point of speaking to each guest individually and also thanks you for coming. The most amazing meal we had there was what Samba called the" Gambia Experience" - he made us 4 Gambia dishes including Benachin, Domada, Chicken Yassa and fresh fish all nicely served in individual dishes. All the staff are lovely and friendly and it is a lovely place to spend an evening especially if the evenings are warm enough to eat outside. Cannot wait to go back next year.
