This hotel is conveniently located near the centre of Tamale, but that's about all it has going for it. Prices have increased by 50% over what is listed in the most recent guidebooks (2009 and 2010), yet the hotel seems to have done nothing to justify the price increase. The gloomy rooms are in poor condition and not very clean, with cracked tiles, remains of old fixtures hanging on the walls, and pealing paint. The furniture has definitely seen better days. Rates now include breakfast, but I have no idea what you get because I got tired of waiting for the cook to show up and left to find my own food somewhere else. Would have been acceptable at the old rates, but now very overpriced for what you get.
