I have to say that this is probably one of the nicest beach-front accommodations I've ever stayed in. The owner of the Manga Soa greeted us every morning at breakfast and then again at dinner, asking if we enjoyed our stay. You might think it would get annoying, but he genuinely cared about our well-being during our time there. The other staff at the Manga Soa were very helpful and courteous.
The property only has about 7 lodges so there is naturally a more "intimate" feeling when you walk around at the beach or pool. The lodges are very spacious and all face the water. They even have these big doors and windows that open up facing the beach.
The restaurant has a "menu du jour" which was always prepared using local and fresh ingredients. Fruit is grown on the property and picked fresh daily. Literally, someone picks the papaya, pineapple, or banana straight from the tree every morning for breakfast. There are also private little tables and shelters scattered around the property where you can have a private meal.
I could go on and on about the Manga Soa, but you just have to experience it yourself. It is on the expensive end, but well worth the month for sure! You certainly will not be disappointed.
