We stayed at LE CHAMBORD for a wedding reception held there. The rooms were quite small, the air conditioning non existent or virtually useless and the food not anything near the alleged 4 star quality that it claims. In fact,it was rather mediocre to poor. The reception hall air conditioning was terrible and everyone was quite uncomfortable. Yes it was hot but the owner, Roy, advertises the ballroom as being able to accomodate 200 -250 people so the air conditioning should certainly have been adequate for the 150 attendees. It wasn't even close to being adequate and everyone was sweating profusely. The setting for Le Chambord is quite attractive so Roy, the owner, uses it as an inducement to lead you into believing that the dinner reception will be wonderful with excellent food, great service and that the cocktail hour which follows the wedding ceremony and precedes the reception will be great. Well, it's not even close. After the ceremony it took 20-25 minutes to set up the cocktail hour even though Roy said it would be 5 minutes. During that period guests had no choice but to mill about in the heat. Then the Bar service at the cocktail hour was horrible as there were only 2 bartenders for 150 people who were quite thirsty having waited in the heat for 20 or so minutes. There were lines of 20-25 people to get served. The food served at the cocktail service was sparse to say the least and all that was served was some meatballs and cheeses.I could go on but I'm sure the hosts were quite embarrassed as the service, food etc. was terrible notwithstanding that Roy gets top dollar for this. MY ADVICE-DON'T EVEN CONSIDER HAVING DINNER OR AN AFFAIR HERE NOR SHOULD YOU STAY IN THIS OVERPRICED AND UNDERPERFORMING INN.

Beautiful location, very clean. Very courteous staff. Cozy, elegant rooms and the food was excellent. I would definitely stay again.

I stayed here. It wasn't clean, and it was pretty run down. The owner gave me a lot of heat, rudely, about accepting the corporate rate, which I booked online--said because I didn't work for IBM, he didn't want to give it to me. Food wasn't so hot, either. Next time, somewhere else.

After a long and frustrating trip the "oasis" offered by this inn was a refreshing welcome. This inn is 5 stars in my book on all accounts, in every department. Staff friendly and courteous; food is to die for! My hats off to the chef. I heartily give my highest kudos to this establishment. If you want to be treated like a welcomed guest I suggest you try this inn.

None-too-clean rooms, horrible dining, questionable advertising, a rude owner, and a loud highway add up to a hotel that would have been too much money at a dollar a night, let alone a hundred and four. Don't stay here under ANY circumstances, there are perfectly nice hotels within ten miles. The Lysol provided free in every room is needed--the bathrooms, while fair sized, have cracked sinks and seemingly-rarely-cleaned soap dispensers. The breakfast is poor coffee, a wilting fruit cup, and bread left over from (at least) yesterday. The rooms only single lock; no chain or deadbolt. The much-anticipated dinner was badly prepared and served. Why not go someplace nice, instead of here?
