“Don't have an event there!”
Reviewed 11 June 2013

I went to a bridal shower at this restaurant. It started at noon - and I heard it was going to be over at 3:30. While the bride was opening her gifts, the wait staff (at least 6, who had been standing in the doorway) started clearing the tables at around 2:20. The wine, water and soda was taken off the tables - along with all the glasses and dishes. It was very hard to see the gifts opened with all this activity in the room. There was another group waiting for a 4 PM event, which is why the big rush to get us out. I cannot understand why it would take one hour to set the room back up. Very poor management on the part of this restaurant. This will definately be on my "Do not have an Event" there list. I felt very bad for the bride and her family. How embarassing!

“Way overpriced for lousy food and slow service”
Reviewed 13 February 2013

My husband and I ate there last night, 2/12/13 and it was our first, and last time there! The prices vs portion size are unbelievably off balance. The eggplant had a disturbing aftertaste. The salad, ordered with house Italian dressing was so dry and bland I couldn't eat it. The entrees didn't arrive until 40-45 mins after the salad which was ridiculous considering there were only three other tables occupied. There are no free refills on soda and we were shocked when the bill arrived totaling four drinks! Lousy food, lousy service! Go to Tiramisu! A little crowded but much much better food, service and prices!

“The Best”
Reviewed 2 February 2013

I have no idea what some of the reviews up here are talking about! I was there last night & it was the best Italian food I've had in years. C'mon people, who eats veal from a diner? Are you serious? The food is consistently great, the service is beyond what you would expect when you pay $15-20 for an entree, and the mood is relaxing. Being a local resident, I have no idea how some people can say "better food down the road" or "better at a diner" - for real people? Diners are great when you're playing it cheap. Burgers, shakes, eggs, but veal? Come on. And as for the food, I guess you could go to Olive Garden & eat horrible fake food for the same price. Or go authentic and eat great, not spend a lot, and feel good when you leave. You make the choice.
