This is a place I've wanted to visit most of my life and I wasn't disappointed when I got there. The views live up to all the images I'd seen and then some more.

The colours in the early morning sun are incredible .. wow... wow ..wow.

The dunes at Sossusvlei are magic. The colors, the quiet, the changing moods are spectacular. I was moved by the beauty. Go early in the morning for the best viewing. The rising sun lights up the dunes on one side and creates a black shadow on the other. Gentle black backed jackals met us in the parking lot. This sight is well worth your time and efforts.

The beautiful red dunes are spectacular and a must see. The fact that distances are deceptive in the desert had me awe struck. Take a guided tour and walk up one of the dunes and listen to the silence surrounding you. Seeing the gemsbok and springbuck a bonus

This park is a must do if you are trekking in Namibia. Try to get in the evening before visiting the park and be ready to go when the park opens at 6:30 to get the early morning light on the dunes. I've not seen anything like this before and really enjoyed it.
