Chamilandu provides the height of luxury in the most incredible riverside setting. Raised up above the river, the view is spectacular, with the Chindeni hills as the back drop.
Treehouses on stilts seem entirely the wrong description for these luxury bedrooms suspended above the river below. Open fronted with panoramic views, open bathrooms and huge sprawling beds, make retreating to your room at the end of an active day a joy and luxury.
The "watering hole hide" is an excellent addition to the camp and attracts amazing game, with girrafe, buffalo and even a cheetah spotted during our high tea!
The food was better than most London restaurants are able to produce, all cooked in a small bush kitchen, truly incredible. The staff and service were impeccable - amusing, unassuming and attentive, we were relaxed before we'd even stepped off the transfer landrover.
Zillah the camp manager was truly excellent and we cannot thank her and her staff enough for making our stay the most fun, spoiling and relaxing in our whole Zambia trip.
I would wholeheartedly reccomend this Chamilandu camp and Bushcamp as a whole to anybody thinking of a trip to Zambia. Truly exceptional.
