I stayed at this location for 5 days after having stayed at another Queretaro hotel the last dozen times in Queretaro. The reason for my stay was from hearing about the views of the city and the availability of a good in house restaurant. I requested a city view and was told that all were taken, even though one other in my group checked in after me and got the city view and the hotel was not crowded. As a result, I was left with the "5th" level, or 5 floors down with a view of the rock wall (yes, the elevator is very odd in that you don't know whether to press up or down since the floors are numbered from top down instead of bottom up). The room was very clean, and bathroom was just fine, but the bed was not comfortable. The cell phone reception in my room (given 5 floors down, and against the rock wall) was poor. Some of the facilities through the hallways were pretty beat up. I considered using the fitness center, but after checking it out chose not too as it was pretty cramped and dismal. I attempted to go for a walk, first out back past the pool and did not get far. There was no way to get out onto any roads. I then attempted to walk out front onto the hill. I walked along the road for a ways until it became too dangerous. We ate in the restaurant for one breakfast, and the food was just OK and average. We ate in the restaurant for one dinner. The meal was above average, and it was nice to sit outside overlooking the city. There are plenty of better restarants available in Queretaro, so the in house restaurant I would only consider as a convenience. The access to the hotel is not the best. I likely would not stay here again, but the location may suit some, and accessibility may not be an issue for most if they take cabs or use the hotel shuttle.
