food it is so good. this place remains of an old hacienda where the typical mexican food is served. We started with a good tequila and ordered several dishes we were a party of 4. very good service really a most for anybody who travels between Queretaro and the northern part of Mexico.

I was in Queretaro, Mexico for business and the locals took us to this place that blow my mind. First at all the place look like Spanish Hacienda and the birds just flying around you, seriously, like a movie. The tables are located in the patio, but remember like the haciendas the patio is in the middle of the structure, around you is the property. The bread is to die for, sweet soft and with real cream cheese in the center. I order a mushroom soup absolutely perfect (mix that with the bread jajaja) then I had the main course Tiritas de Cordero (beef strips) the flavors are exquisite. I also try the nopal (like a cactus) great. This people really know how to cook. For dessert Cream Cheese Custard (Flan de queso). And for the end un cortadito (strong espresso coffe with a hint of milk). Who can return to work after these feast.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here and were very happy. We split the sopa de queso
and we each had an entree....which was excellent. This restaurant is a 45 minute drive from our home, but it is well worth it and we will return again.

This restaurant is located in a real Hacienda, you eat in the courtyard, with a nice fountain in the middle. The setting is gorgeous and romantic. There is a mariachi band everyday at 4pm, which wonderfully complements the whole experience. The food is traditional Mexican and it is of excellent quality: sopes, quesadillas, carnitas. Everything we ordered was great. The margaritas were very good, too. After the mariachis finish their set you can hire them for $12 per song if you want to serenade your significant other. Service is good but a bit slow, not a big issue if you are not in a hurry. Although it is in the outskirts of town you can easily get here by a $4 taxi ride.

I am a Mexican and this is a must if you want to try Carnitas. They are delicious. Also try the mushroom soup which si spicy yet awesome. It is in an Hacienda and the environment is beautiful.
