Howe Caverns Motel Packages are Great

For a great getaway book one of the packages at the Howe Caverns Motel that includes a visit to the amazing underground world of Howe Caverns. Check out the package for two that includes the cavern tour, motel accommodation, a half pound of their luscious homemade fudge, a bag of gems to use at the HC Mining Company and a Howe Cavern souvenir.

The motel is located across from the Main Lodge on the Howe Caverns Estate, with a spectacular view overlooking the beautiful Helderberg Plateau. Actually every room in the motel has a spectacular view. Guest rooms and family suites suit everyone from business travelers to couples to vacationing families. Guest rooms are equipped with modern conveniences - microwave/refrigerators are available in most rooms. Other conveniences include in-room phone with free local calls, in-room coffee maker, hair dryer and ironing board with iron. Plus, the motel features large bathrooms, satellite remote controlled televisions, and individually controlled heating and cooling systems. Howe Caverns Motel is a smoke-free facility. For summertime visitors there is an outdoor pool that is open from July 1st through Labor Day (weather permitting). And, best of all, kids stay free in the room with adults.

A tour of the caverns starts with the animatronic Lester Howe inviting people in and explaining how he found the caves. Visitors descend 156-feet below the surface in an elevator and are led on a tour that includes a boat ride. There are several activities for thrill seekers including the new H2OgO Balls that go zipping down the hill. There is also a zip line, rock climbing and an air jumper. All are designed for the novice thrill seeker. Let the fun begin at Howe Caverns. For more information check howecaverns.com.

My family visited Howe caverns during Memorial Day weekend . Thank God we booked it ahead of time. The motel is tiny and was fully booked when we arrived. I loved the whole experience . Located in a beautiful spot , very cute, clean and friendly . There was a souvenir waiting in a room for my 12 year old daughter . Nice touch. They let us check in early and let us keep our car at their parking lot even after we checked out. The rooms were clean and large. Great package for the value .
Nice cafe , pleasant staff, good food.
Had a great experience
Would go again

Howe's Caverns Motel
Go 156 feet below the Earth's surface and see stalactites, stalagmites and an underground lake.
There are several overnight packages and we decided on their Culinary Delights Package which included the traditional tour (90 min), dinner at A Taste of Europe (appetizer, soup or salad, entree, dessert and non-alcoholic beverage and some Howe's Caverns Homemade fudge.
Checkin was easy and the staff were friendly and helpful. Yes it is your typically motel style but the motel is clean and comfortable with a nice view. There was a coffee maker, microwave and small refrig. The tv is small with limited channels but at least for us the reason to stay here was not to stay in and watch tv. Walking distance to the Caves makes it very convenient. We stayed off-season so their other attractions were not open yet. We enjoyed the cavern tour and would recommend a trip here.

older motel, clean and neat, right on grounds of Howes Cavern, the staff were pleasant and helpful, online reservations went smoothly, getting thru by phone was not good, call was returned but only after we had started our trip, there is evidence of updating going on, but was glad we were only using it as a one night rest stop, we were there before the start of their season, check in was at the main lodge and not at the motel, our room had an older tv and no microwave or fridge which in truth they don't say everyroom has one, bathroom was spacious to say the least, hot water to shower was at times too plentiful and may have been too hot for use, room we had was overly warm a/c was loud

Just like many reviewers said - the rooms are circa 1970's but extremely clean and tidy! Bathroom was large with two sinks with a private toilet. Microwave and mini fridge were a plus if you have children. Should I ever visit Howe Caverns again, I would definitely stay there.

Our visit was on the 1st of March, with 10 persons in our party. There are a variety of rooms available with varying reasonable rates, depending upon what you need. The two room suite our daughter and family stayed in will accommodate eight persons (four double beds). The room my son and daughter-in-law had will accommodate six (two double). My wife and I enjoyed a smaller unit for two. There is a larger suite available that also has a jacuzzi.
The hotel is dated and has some minor maintenance issues here and there, but overall is very clean and comfortable and I would still rate it highly. The emphasis is on the cleanliness. The TV's are small and have limited access to channels, but the reason for your stay is not to sit in the room and watch TV. It adjoins the Caves and museums as well as the warmer weather attractions there, where you will be spending the majority of your time. There were no complaints from our group. I will definitely stay here again on future visits.

Room Tip: Pick a room based on the space you may require. There is plenty of variey.

My husband and I stayed here in January and there was 1 other car at the motel. It was defeinitely their offseason. The room is small but we didn't need anything more and it didn't have a cheap motel look. Everything in the room worked great and we had a pleasant stay there. It is right next to Howe Caverns, which was a huge plus. I definitely would recommend staying here! It was $123 (with fees and taxes) but we got 2 tickets to Howe Caverns, 1/2 lb fudge, and a nice souvenir package. Very well run establishment.

Room Tip: We had room 110, and it was great!
