Hudson City B&B is very quiet and comfortable. It is located on a nice quiet street, surrounded by impressive Victorian homes. The intricate wood moldings on these homes are truly amazing. Barry is a charming host and makes a great omelette. All in all, we had a very relaxing weekend and hope to visit again.

Really nice little place with a very genuine owner.

Very pretty quiet location, comfortable clean room with honestly the softest sheets I've ever experienced in a hotel (and I've stayed at a lot of expensive hotels).

Barry's very friendly, accommodating, fun to talk to and makes a mean breakfast, which is not to be skipped under any circumstances.

Only gripe was that our bathroom didn't have a door.. But would definitely return, no question.

Thank you so much for staying with me! And thanks a lot for the comment about the soft sheets. We take special care with the laundry and in selecting only 100% cotton linens for our inventory. Although the bathroom does not have a door it does however have a wall that separates it from the bedroom; that's the way it was when I purchased the property. That said, I promise to address the issue soon, once and for all. It was entirely my pleasure to attend to your comforts and to send you out on your adventures well fed and satisfied. It was fun meeting you both! Warmly, Barry

This is the best place you will find, if you're looking for a home away from home. Barry is awesome! His breakfasts are perfect, and the rooms are nicely updated and very comfortable! Hudson is a vey cool city, and the Hudson City B&B is the place to be. Cheers!

Barry, the Innkeeper, is very ingratiating in his desire to do the best for his guests and is very helpful with recommendations for restaurants or fun activities. Breakfast is ample and you will be amazed at what Barry can do with scrambled eggs or omelets. The house is a classic Empire Victorian and nearly 150 years old.The rooms are large and feel open, contrary to many modern hotels. If you are a person or couple who enjoy getting a feel for history through where you stay, what more could you ask for?

My husband and I stayed with Barry when we came to Hudson for my nephew's wedding celebration. The consummate innkeeper, Barry's grace, charm and humor were only exceeded by his culinary expertise in the omelet department! Our room was spacious and charming, and our breakfast companions provided insightful, and friendly conversation - we highly recommend this experience to one and all...

Wow. Such a lovely stay! Barry is so sweet and awesome, and really helpful in regards to getting around the area.Loved my room, and the breakfasts were divine. I had the best cheddar with fresh farmer's market veggies omelette ever. And oh the waffles with the peach and apricot compote! I live in NYC and food and ambience are key and Barry's got both.
